Rob Parker: Lamar Jackson, NOT Patrick Mahomes, is NFL's Best Quarterback

Listen to Rob Parker and Chris Broussard debate who should be the favorite in the AFC this season, as the Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs are clearly the cream of the crop in a conference that no longer has to worry about Tom Brady.

One of the biggest storylines heading into this season will be the fate of Lamar Jackson, as the reigning MVP goes into a critical third season where he’ll attempt to win his first playoff game.

Jackson recently was named the number one player in the NFL voted upon by the players, with Mahomes, the Super Bowl MVP no less, ranking fourth. Many critics were taken back by the rankings, not only because of Jackson being #1, a player who is winless in postseason games, but the fact that Mahomes, who has already won an MVP AND a Super Bowl was three spots behind Jackson.

Parker believes this will be the year that Jackson not only pops his postseason cherry, but also reaches his first Super Bowl like Mahomes, and makes his case for the NFL’s best player crystal clear.

Check out the audio above as Broussard pushes back at Parker, and details why it’s still Mahomes’ MVP and Super Bowl to lose.
