In the ten slot Gottlieb has ‘Remember the Titans’, one of Denzel Washington’s most memorable roles with ‘Sunshine’ as Ryan Gosling.

At number nine is ‘The Natural’, the iconic Robert Redford movie that is arguably the greatest baseball movie of all time.

At eight there’s ‘White Men Can’t Jump’, right up there as one of the most quotable films ever.

At number seven is ‘Million Dollar Baby’, which was one of only three sports movies ever to win Best Picture (Chariots of Fire, Rocky) at the Academy Awards.

At number six is ‘Bull Durham’, which many former Major League players have lauded as the most accurate representation ever of the frustrating lives of Minor Leaguers.

At number five is ‘Major League’, one of the best movies of the 1980’s and perhaps Charlie Sheen’s best role ever.

At four is ‘The Sandlot’ which is arguably the greatest kids movie ever in its own right.

At three is ‘A League of Their Own’, vintage Tom Hanks and Madonna.

At two is ‘Tin Cup’, according to Gottlieb the crown jewel of Kevin Costner’s career resume.

And at number one is ‘Hoosiers’, the modern day ‘David vs. Goliath’ sports film, that defines what underdog stories mean in sports.
