Dan Patrick explains exactly why the Jets need to move on from Aaron Rodgers, and it start with owner Woody Johnson. He’s made a mess of this season and has fired his head coach and general manager, and worse, he’s alienated his franchise quarterback. It’s highly unlikely Rodgers really wants to play for an owner that wanted him benched.
Dan Patrick: “I just think this is a team that’s going to have to move on, take a cap hit with Aaron Rodgers...I don’t think you can have an owner say, ‘Let’s bench Aaron,’ four games in and that Aaron would want to come back, or you would want him back.”
