Colin points to all the star, highly paid quarterbacks that missed the playoffs and argues that cheap, young quarterbacks with a stacked roster are a viable way to win in the NFL and that teams should pay big money very infrequently (15:00). They both agree that the NFL playoff field is WIDE OPEN and that almost any team could win (18:00).

They debate what the Ravens should do next year and beyond with Lamar Jackson as his athletic powers diminish with age and what it will take to get the Ravens over the hump in the postseason (24:30). Colin points to Ben Johnson as the next McVay and the job he’s done with the Bears in two years has been nothing short of spectacular. They credit both his scheme genius and culture building ability for the Bears turnaround (41:30).

They also rank the NFL head coaches that they’d take over Ben Johnson and go around the league identifying the coaches they hold in highest regard (49:30) and preview Texans @ Steelers 1:08:00).
