NASCAR at Dover International Speedway Postponed

Spring Race Weekend at Dover International Speedway, originally scheduled for May 1-3, 2020 will be postponed due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

“The health and safety of our fans, industry and the communities in which we race is our most important priority, so in accordance with recent CDC guidance, NASCAR is currently postponing all race events through May 3, with plans to return racing in Martinsville,” NASCAR said in a statement.

The Speedway is still in talks with NASCAR and has not yet confirmed makeup dates. NASCAR officials say they still plan to hold all 36 races this year.
