Clay Travis: I'm Confident in Our Whole Country Collectively

Clay Travis: I'm Confident in Our Whole Country Collectively

Clay Travis is reacting to what was a very difficult weekend for our entire country. There were a number of amazing protests that took place in various cities across the country, however, there were some people that turned many of these peaceful protests into violent ones, which unfortunately overshadowed the others.

Clay is a student of history, and he speaks about the Civil Rights Movement in the United States from the 1960s, led by Martin Luther King Jr. Clay believes that in many ways, we are still dealing with a 1960s situation in America today.

Clay explains that he still remains very optimistic about our country, and he firmly believes that our country as a whole will get things right. Clay then plays audio from Atlanta's mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms. Clay says her leadership and strength was absolutely outstanding this past weekend, and that the whole country can learn from her.

These are certainly some troubling times in this country, but Clay maintains that we will all come out of it on the other side in a much better place than where we came in, just like we did after the Civil Rights Movement.
